Norfolk Fairs held their first Militaria Fair at the Breckland Leisure Centre & Waterworld, Thetford, Norfolk, on 8th April 2012.
There were over 700 visitors to the fair and the feedback received from stallholders and visitors was overwhelmingly positive, proving that there is a strong demand for a good quality one day militaria fair in Norfolk.
The stallholders did not disappoint, offering a wide selection of high quality militaria. The organisers, Norfolk Fairs, were very pleased to receive countless compliments on the choice of venue, the organisation of the fair and the quality of the items on offer. Many of the stallholders and visitors commented on the atmosphere of the fair being reminiscent of how the Militaria fairs used to be.
There is no doubt that the extensive advertising campaign assisted greatly in the high number of visitors to the event, Norfolk Fairs intend to continue their extensive advertising campaign to maintain this standard and will continue to offer great value for money for the stallholders and for the public.
For future Militaria Fairs, there will be a change to the opening times to allow the stallholders more time to set up. Stallholders can set up from 7.45am and public admission will be from 9.30am. The fair will close slightly earlier at 3pm as many stallholders travel considerable distances to attend the fair.
