Woolley & Wallis is described by the Antiques Trade Gazette as "arguably the most exciting provincial saleroom in the country"

Of the fifteen lots to make over a million pounds at regional auction houses, Woolley and Wallis has sold eleven of them, and from 2010 to the present Woolley and Wallis has been the highest grossing regional saleroom in the U.K.

The twice-yearly Arms & Armour, Medals & Coins auctions bring together the related disciplines of arms, armour, orders, decorations and medals; together with coins and art/historic medals.

The auctions include orders, gallantry and campaign awards, coins and medallions, edged weapons, firearms, armour and militaria. Some notable prices include, a fine Indian Dagger sold for £27,500, a rare half dime sold for £15,000, and a group of medals to a member of the SAS sold for £36,600. In November 2019 Woolley & Wallis sold the superb Jeremy Hebblethwaite collection of order and medals for over £198,000. Prices include buyer’s premium.
