There’s a new military history show coming to the South of England Showground in 2024.

Battles Through History is a new, multi-period living history show, set in 150 acres at the South of England Showground. Taking place on Saturday, 21 September and Sunday, 22 September next year, this show is set to be the last hurrah of the summer season, coming a scant three weeks after Military Odyssey. There will be Living History, military vehicles, wargamers, modelmakers, a vintage village, traders in all things of all eras. Plus, there will be exhibitors, hands on history for the children to get involved with and numerous battles.

Those wishes to exhibit or take part in performances should head over to the website for an application form. There is space for re-enactors, military vehicles, and traders available as well as for war gamers and modelmakers. Advance ticket sales will be available on the website from April this year. The South of England Showground is at Selsfield Road, Ardingly, near Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH17 6TH. Discover more at https://battlesthroughhistory.co.uk.
