Tanks for the shoes

The trainers showcase iconic tanks from World War II, including the Churchill Mark VII Crocodile from the Museum’s own collection and M4A3E8 Sherman 'A Paper Doll' tank.

Made solely for The Tank Museum, the trainers are made to order and are shipped straight from production to the customer.

The Churchill Crocodile was a British flame-throwing tank and was introduced as one of the specialised armoured vehicles developed for D-Day under Major General Percy Hobart, known as ‘Hobart’s Funnies’. Visitors to The Tank Museum can see the tank that inspired the design on display in the Museum’s Tank Story Hall.

The M4 Sherman, officially the Medium Tank, M4, was the most widely used medium tank by Western Allies and the US in World War II. The M4A3E8 named ‘A Paper Doll’ served with the 68th Tank Battalion in Germany, 1945.
