Blood, Dust and Snow Blood, Dust and Snow

Freshly translated from the original German diaries, here is the war in the East through the eyes of a young panzer commander. There’s an introduction to who Oberleutnant Friedrich Sander was and the diaries start in 1938 with training.

However, Sander wasn’t involved in the Blitzkrieg on France so it jumps from 1939 to 1941 when he took part in Operation Barbarossa. The entries are thus mainly from 1941-1943, and are graphic and unfiltered, giving you an authentic view from a National Socialist soldier.
