Part of the Combat series from Osprey, this is the French Foreign Legion from 1948-52 taking on the Viet Minh insurgents in the French Indochina War of 1946-54.
Although not very long, these guides offer a look at the soldiers and their weapons and equipment. There there are the battles which are complemented by colour artwork, period photos and nicely designed colour maps. These latter items are very useful and well done, showing clearly how battles unfolded. Certainly, another nice addition to the series.
