While there have been many Vietnam books over the years, this one offers a detailed account of a single, largely forgotten, action between the 52nd Vietnamese Ranger Battalion and the Viet Cong.
Where it differs is both in the amount of detail in the telling and by using a variety of sources to build up a picture of the battle. These include accounts by Rangers who were captured and told how the Viet Cong had planned the ambush to start with. Pricy, but worthy for those interested in the period.
