Number 68 in the Weapon series from Osprey, this one takes a look at the ubiquitous Cold War rifle, the G3.
Developed after WWII by Heckler & Koch, it was adopted by over 40 countries around the world. The book takes a look at the development of the weapon, how it was used in action, the impact it had in the Cold War and the legacy it has had with regards to further developments. It’s a fairly dry guide but there are plenty of colour photos and illustrations to back up the worthy text.
