Here’s the other memoir of an escapee from the camp. Müller was a pilot in one of the RAFs Norwegian squadrons who was shot down in 1942. It’s a much shorter story, so most of it centres around life in the camp. The interesting parts are the details on how escapes were planned and how, together with Per Bergsland, he got out and made it to the coast before stowing away on a ship to Gothenburg. It’s translated from Norwegian, so doesn’t read as well as Bram Vanderstock’s longer memoir.
